Glitch with Hex Edit

I tried the text edit and I didn't get any results from it. On the other hands the Hex edit was really successful for me. Inserting the main code in the middle was not as successful but adding additional text to the right of the code is where I found my success! I added the lyrics of Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus multiple times (33 times I believe) and it completely distorted my image.
