For my final project I am really happy with how the end result went, especially because of the art show and it was in a public place for other people to see. My original plan of having picture frames hang which would create a shadow didn’t get to go as planned but that is alright. At first I was still planning on hanging the picture frames on the wall but when we did the dress rehearsal in class a lot of people had picture frames and I wanted to do something different. I also wanted to do something big that takes up space. When I was first planning on hanging the frames I wanted to take up space with that. I narrowed down projecting on big cardboard boxes. Honestly, I think they were perfect and they turned out great. I liked the different sizes together with each other and the flat and plain cardboard made for a perfect background. I was also able to twist the boxes in different directions to make it more dynamic as well.
If I were to do it again I would have played around more with the projector at different levels. The projector was down low and because of that the angle of the light projection got caught on some box corners and stopped the projection from fully being seen on the top sides of the box. All in all though it was not that obvious and a big deal but if I could’ve changed something that is what I would have picked.
I had to post the video from the show on youtube because I ran out of storage on wix. I just went back to take a screenshot of it for my picture thumbnail and realized someone left a comment. I think it's funny haha!
