For my first project I was just excited to explore new realms of digital media. I didn’t know the realms of AI and how far reaching AI was. Also, through the past few years and the emergence of AI, I have never heard of anyone necessarily being pro-AI, especially from a teacher. Through the project I want to learn how to mix AI along with my own personal touch to make my own magic with the help of computers and technology as well. Recently my art has been reflecting the playfulness around skeletons but also the contrast of youth and what is next. I forever want to live in a state of my youth but there’s also the inevitable that I will grow older and enter another stage of life. One of my other art teachers inspired us to look around our rooms and see if there were any often occurring themes or pictures. I didn’t even notice it at the time but there were 7 different skeleton decorations/pieces of art. I was naturally drawn to it without even realizing. However, these skeletons were often displayed in a playful way or colorful. I want my art in this first project to reflect that maybe, with skeletons on display but also using the power of glitching to make the scenes displayed playful and fun. Overall I want to have fun with this project and using glitching as a tool to enhance the art and photos.
